Recycled Metals:

Recycled and Refined metals are metals not obtained by dirty drilling. The production of one gold ring needs 20 tons of ore and will generate 5 tons of environmental waste. Cyanide and Mercury contaminates the water and land which endanger the health and lives of humans and animals alike. Metals that are recycled come from metal scrap from industrial-use metals, electronics components and existing jewelry that has been refined back to 100% purity. There is no visual or wear difference with metals that have been recycled and metal that has been "dirty mined".

Moissanite

Moissanite is harder than Sapphires, Rubies and other gemstones and only second in hardness to Diamonds. Believed to have been carried by a meteorite 50,000 years ago in trace amounts, silicon carbide in a labor intensive process has been hand faceted by master gem cutters to bring out the stone's natural brilliance. The fire that this gem produces is phenomenal.

All of my Moissanites are Charles and Colvard.

14kt White Gold

A majority of White Gold that you see in stores are Rhodium Plated since White Gold is not naturally white. White Gold that has not been plated will have a Champagne color and when doing a side by side comparison, white gold is much paler and softer. Traditional White Gold is Nickle based which has been known to cause allergies in sensitive individuals.

14kt Palladium White

Nickle free so a hypoallergenic alternative to standard White Gold. Closely related to the Platinum family. Rich deep grey in color.

TruPd™ .950 Palladium

Palladium is very closely related to the Platinum family. It's a workable white alloy that stays white, does not need to by rhodium plated, is hypoallergenic and priced better than Platinum. Fantastic white metal more rare than gold.

Argentium Silver

Argentium Silver is brighter than platinum, white gold and traditional sterling. Purer than sterling silver it has more tarnish resistance. It's also low maintenance, easy to care for and simple to clean. Argentium Alloys do not contain Nickle which is a great anti-allergy benefit. This is my preferred Silver of choice. Here is a bit more info from the Argentium silver website.

There are two grades of Argentium Silver...
  • Argentium 935 (93.5% silver purity)
  • Argentium 960 (96.0% silver purity)
Since both of these alloys contain a greater silver purity than the required 92.5%, they easily surpass the sterling silver quality standard.

Argentium guarantees traceability of its raw silver.  It is certified that Argentium is produced using only recycled silver.

Druzy

The formation of the tiny crystals occurs after molten rock begins to quickly cool, trapping gasses within it as it solidifies. The trapped gasses cause crevices and cavities in the cooling rock. The overall appearance usually resembles that of spilled salt or sugar. The tiny crystals are considered beautiful because they glitter and catch rays of light.

Dendritic Quartz

Dendritic Quartz is a stone known for having patterns that look fern like or close to something resembling an eco sphere.  It's the manganese oxide in the stone that produces the patterns and colors. Quartz can also have other minerals including, Chrysocolla, Azurite, Malachite, Chlorite or Goethite. All in all, these stones are beautiful to gaze upon.
